Info
Crispy air-fried chicken wings coated in a sweet and spicy harissa and hot honey sauce. These wings are cooked in out harissa spice blend for double the harissa flavour!
Ingredients
Method
Ingredients
- 900g chicken wings
- 2 tbsp harissa seasoning
- 2 tsp vegetable oil
- 30g butter
- 3 tbsp Bart harissa paste
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp runny honey
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Method
- Pat the chicken wings dry and place into a large bowl. Sprinkle with the harissa seasoning and toss well to coat. Drizzle with the vegetable oil and toss again. Preheat the air fryer to 240C.
- Cook the wings in batches for 14-16 minutes until crisp and cooked through. Remove to a warm plate and cover with foil whilst you cook the remaining batches, if necessary.
- Meanwhile prepare the sauce. Melt the butter in a large frying pan over a medium heat. Once melted add the harissa, lemon juice, and honey. Stir well and bubble gently for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat.
- Once the chicken wings are cooked gently reheat your sauce and stir through half the parsley. Add your chicken wings to the sauce and toss well for a couple of minutes until the wings are well coated. Serve immediately with the remaining parsley.
