How much do you charge for standard delivery?

We charge £4.00 for standard delivery of any order under £25.00 and this typically guarantees the arrival of your package in 3 to 5 working days.

How can I return my order?

We hope that you are happy with your purchase from us but understand if you need to return your ingredients. We can offer a refund on items returned unopened within 30 days of delivery for full priced items, and within 14 days of delivery for sale or discounted items. Proof of purchase must be provided for us to process a refund. Any items received in a non-sellable condition will not be accepted. Please ensure that you return the goods to us in their original packaging and get in touch with us using the contact us page on this website prior to sending your package. To return an order please send your package to Bart Ingredients Co. Ltd, Goldcrest Way, Bristol, BS35 4GH. We will send you an email once your package has been received.

Do you ship orders internationally?

We currently only ship online orders to UK mainland addresses. We are looking into shipping further afield in the future.

There is a problem with my order, what shall I do?

If your order has arrived damaged or if you have not received the ingredients that you expected then please get in touch with us via the contact us page and we will resolve your issues as quickly as possible.

Is your product packaging recyclable?

All of our glass jars, plastic lids, alluminium tins and lids, and cartons are recyclable. Our plastic film that is used inside our seasoning tins and cartons are not currently recyclable but we are working on sourcing a recyclable material.

Allergens

I have a severe nut allergy, could you confirm that your products are free from potential contamination with nuts?

Bart Ingredients do not handle any nuts on site. We ensure all allergen containing components that are intentionally added to our products are labelled clearly online and on pack. And, none of our Bart ingredients carry any alibi/or ‘may contain’ warnings. This is because we have robust procedures in place with all our suppliers, who are audited to ensure there is no risk of cross contamination in handling or processing our raw materials. We are also confident in our manufacturing practices and controls as we are a nut free site. That said, we do not test every ingredient before it leaves us for allergenic contamination based on our robust risk assessment approach. Therefore, we have no need to use any ‘may contain’ warnings, but equally cannot 100% guarantee a ‘free from’ statement as we have not analysed every product for nuts which would be required of us by law should we use this statement.

Are your ingredients gluten free?

All our single ingredient herbs and spices, and in fact most of the Bart range, is gluten free – we operate a clean label policy so if there is an allergen in an ingredient, we clearly state it on pack and online - as we should by law.

Are your ingredients vegan friendly?

All of our single ingredient herbs and spices are vegan friendly. We are a clean label company so the only non-vegan ingredients we produce, will be our sauces and pastes when you would expect it - such as Fish Sauce or Thai Green Curry paste for instance.

Do any of your salt products contain MSG?

There is absolutely no MSG in our Salt products. We have strict controls in place with our suppliers that are built on long standing agreements, processing practices and we audit our supply chain regularly. To be a supplier to Bart, you need to conform to our strict guidelines that are over and above food safety measures due to the quality of the ingredients we provide. We only believe in authentic ingredients and clean labelling and do not allow any MSG in our products amongst other non-essential additives. All allergens which are intentionally added to the recipe are also clearly stated on our labels.
