Harissa Sheet Pan Koftas

Juicy beef koftas flavoured with our Harissa Spice Blend. Packed with cumin, chilli, garlic, and mint, every mouthful is full of flavour. Made by pressing the kofta mix into a sheet pan and popping it in the oven for just 15 minutes, these are the perfect quick weeknight dinner. Served with a simple tomato, onion, and sumac salad and a spiced lemon yoghurt.Ingredients

- 750g minced beef
- 1 small brown onion, grated
- 2 tsp Bart Smoked Garlic Paste
- 2 tbsp Bart Harissa Spice Blend
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil, plus more for cooking
To serve
- 3 Flatbreads
- ½ a red onion, finely sliced
- 150g cherry tomatoes, halved
- Handful fresh parsley, chopped
- Juice of half a lemon
- 1 tsp Bart Sumac
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Spiced Lemon Yoghurt
- 250g natural yoghurt
- ½ tsp Bart Sweet Smoked Paprika
- ½ tsp Bart Dill
- 1 tsp Bart Smoked Garlic Paste
- Juice of half a lemon
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 225C fan.
2. Add the kofta ingredients to a large bowl and mix together well with your hands.
3. Line a baking tray with foil. Add the meat and spread it into a rectangle at one end of the tray, around 1cm thick. Score into six strips using a knife or the edge of a spatula. Drizzle with a little more olive oil, then bake for 10–15 minutes until cooked through and lightly golden on top.
4. Whilst the meat cooks, combine the onion, tomatoes, and parsley in a bowl. Squeeze over the lemon juice and season with sumac, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the spiced lemon yoghurt.
5. Once cooked, split the meat into strips and serve on flatbreads with the salad and a drizzle of yoghurt.
