Harissa Beef Sausage Rolls

To celebrate British Beef Week, we’ve given a classic a delicious twist! These beef sausage rolls are made with juicy beef sausages and a bold kick of our harissa spice blend. Perfect for parties, they’re sure to impress your guests!Ingredients

- 320g ready rolled puff pastry
- 400g beef sausages, casing removed
- 1 tbsp Bart harissa spice blend
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
- Small handful fresh parsley or coriander, chopped
- 1 tsp Bart garlic paste
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 egg, beaten
- Nigella seeds, for sprinkling
- Lemony yoghurt for dipping, optional
Method
1. Add the sausage meat, harissa spice blend, tomato puree, parsley/coriander, and garlic in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper and mix well with your hands to combine.
2. Unroll your puff pastry and slice in half lengthways.
3. Divide the meat mixture in half and shape into long logs down the centre of each pastry strip.
4. Brush one edge of each strip with egg wash and roll over seal. Slice into bite-size rolls.
5. Place seam-side-sown on the baking tray and brush with more egg wash. Sprinkle with nigella seeds.
6. Bake for 18-22 minutes until the pastry is golden and the beef is cooked through. Serve with yoghurt and lemon dip!
