Crispy Raj Roasted Chickpeas

These beautifully spiced roasted chickpeas are the perfect healthy snack to make at home

- 400g Chickpeas (drained)
- 1tsp Bart Rock Salt
- 3tsp Bart Raj masala
- 2tbsp Olive oil
Method
- Preheat the oven to 220C. Drain the chickpeas and rinse under cold water, discarding any loose skins. Dry with a clean tea towel until matte.
- In a wide, shallow baking tray, spread the chickpeas into a single layer. Drizzle over the oil and sprinkle with salt. Mix well evenly covered.
- Roast in the oven on a middle-high shelf for 35-40 minutes, depending how crispy you would like your chickpeas.
- Once roasted, remove from the oven and whilst the chickpeas are still hot, sprinkle over the masala and mix gently to cover. Eat fresh for maximum crispiness!
Works well with any of the masalas, or create your own herb or spice blend. |
