- 2 x 320g Puff pastry sheets
- 300g pork sausage meat
- 2 tsp Bart Black Garlic Paste
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 large Jack o Lantern cookie cutters
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 220C/200C fan. Line 2 baking trays with baking parchment.
2. Add the sausage meat to a bowl and mix well with the Black Garlic paste.
3. Unroll the puff pastry sheets and use the cookie cutter to cut out 12 pumpkin shapes.
4. Brush the edges of 6 of the shapes with egg wash. Divide the sausage meat between these 6 pastries leaving a 1 cm pastry border.
5. Cut out eyes and mouths out of the remaining 6 shapes and lay over the sausage meat. Press down the edges with a fork.
6. Arrange onto the lined baking trays, brush the tops with more egg wash, and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
7. Serve!
