Black Garlic Mushroom Toast

Golden toasted sourdough spread with cream cheese and topped with caramelised mushrooms cooked in our balsamic, savoury black garlic paste. Perfect for brunch.Ingredients

- 3 tsp olive oil
- 200g mixed mushrooms
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tsp Bart black garlic paste
- 2 slices sourdough
- 4 tbsp cream cheese
- 1 tbsp pesto
- Fresh parsley, to serve
Method
1. Add 2 tsp of the oil to a pan. Tear up the mushrooms and add to the pan over a medium heat. Season with salt and pepper and leave to sizzle for a couple of minutes without disturbing them. Once starting to turn golden on the underside stir a little, add the garlic paste, turn up the heat, and fry until golden. Remove from the pan onto a large plate and set aside.
2. Toast your sourdough.
3. Spread the sourdough with the cream cheese and top with the mushrooms. Drizzle over the pesto and sprinkle over a few leaves of fresh parsley.
