Pineapple with chilli caramel

Quick and easy dessert.

INGREDIENTS

4tbsp light muscovado sugar
1/2 tsp Bart mild chilli powder
1 lime (zest and juice)
1 pineapple

Pineapple with Chilli Caramel

METHOD

  1. Put the sugar in a pan with 100ml water. Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in the chilli and lime zest and juice. Leave to cool.
  2. Remove the top and bottom from the pineapple and cut off the skin. Cut the pineapple into thin wedges, length ways and arrange on 4 plates. Pour over the chilli syrup and serve.
