A Middle Eastern style blend, fantastic for baking into bread or sprinkling on top of houmous. Also perfect for adding to chicken or lamb before cooking.

Recipe Suggestion
LEMON BAKED CHICKEN WITH ZATAR
Serves: 4
Ingredients: 8 chicken thighs, 2 thinly sliced onions, 2 tsp Bart Garlic Paste, 4 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp Bart Ground Cumin, 1 tsp Bart Ground Cinnamon, 1 thinly sliced lemon. 200ml chicken stock. Salt and pepper to season, 2 tbsp Bart Zatar Blend, 2 tbsp toasted pine nuts, 4 tbsp chopped fresh parsley.
In a large howl mix together the chicken, onions, Bart Garlic Paste, olive oil, Bart Ground Cumin, Bart Ground Cinnamon. lemon slices, stock, salt and pepper. Cover and leave in the fridge to marinate overnight.
Preheat the oven to 200°C, place the chicken and marinade into a roasting tin, laying the chicken skin side up and sprinkle the Zatar over. Cook for 30-40 minutes until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
Transfer the chicken and onions to a serving plate and scatter with pine nuts and parsley.
Why not try mixing with lemon and olive oil and spread onto bread before baking. Perfect for dipping into houmous or baba ganoush,

All goods must be checked and counted upon receipt. Any shortages or damages must be brought to our attention by email at sales@bart-ingredients.co.uk. Please provide a photograph of the damaged item(s), and we will assess the issue and refund or send replacement products.. These will either be replaced or refunded depending on your request.
